First Presbyterian Church of Chittenango

Although at First Presbyterian we believe worship is really the daily expression of living out our lives as followers of Jesus, the hour we spend together on Sunday morning is also a very special one to us. We’re blessed to have many gifted musicians and worship leaders that God is using to draw us into his presence to praise and honor him. Whether one prefers the more traditional way of worshiping in quiet reverence (Ps 95:6), or the more lively contemporary way with hands lifted (Ps 134:2), our service provides elements of each. We meet Sundays, in our sanctuary at 11:00 a.m. and our service includes prayers, a children's story, a Christ-centered sermon message, and both contemporary worship songs led by our Praise Band and traditional hymns. Communion is served during the service on the first Sunday of each month, and we honor our military service men and women on the fourth Sunday.

A Christian education hour precedes our worship service at 9:45 am, with Sunday School classes for pre-K through High School and various topical and theological Bible classes for Adults. Coffee and light refreshments are also served in the fellowship hall for those who wish to relax and chat beginning at 9:30 am.

Join us as we take time out from hearing all week what the world says we need, and spend a couple of hours with us hearing from the God who knows what we need, and in his grace and mercy is eager to provide it.
